2D animation with 3D references

 As a solution for my 2d proportions i will be using my 3d characters auto rigs as my 2d references THE PROCESS - playblast to image sequences                              software - maya * need to set the required camera angle.  * place background and character in different layer. * set the key frames. * once you are satisfied with the angle and timing. * hide the background layer and play the character layer without background                           Maya Interface Process  maya open file render - panel - perspective - shot show - joint ( off ) timeline - playblast - format ( image )                                   encoding (JPG)                                 ...

Final Conclusion ?

 as i was confused and tensed about the problems with rigging  i came to a final conclusion that  my backgrounds are 3d, my characters are  2d  with this decision i can support my research HYBRID ANIMATION and solve my problems   my biggest problem for 2d are proportion. to solve this problem, i'm going to use my 3d characters renders as my references and trace each and every frame or only the key frames in 2d animation software which make the proportions and smooth animation

 i'm working on 3d backgrounds for the scenes software used - adobe maya for the textures / paint for the character i am using substance painter  to use this software i have to add different materials in maya software so i have added lembert for all model and named different for example shirt, cap, hair etc as each object is requires different color and different texture  after giving each object their name i unwrapped each object one by one . the whole street background class and corridor background inside the class background unwrapped version of 3d model clay version of 3d model

solution-problem

found problems in solution As I was very happy to find auto rig software. It got problems as well. It does not come with auto facial expressions. With this rig I can’t add manual facial rigs. As I import two rigging from the software and import to maya they both can’t auto play at a time.  And the mesh of the models are not in required proportions.

Rigging problem

 As I was doing my animatics , I have to do the rigging which helps the 3d characters to move . I found it very hard and time consuming process   I wanted to find a easy way to do the rigging process I came across a software called Adobe Maximo with the help of Google . The software helped me with the rigging problem. As we needs to import the OBJ format of maya file into the adobe Maximo and it automatically rigs it with few basic gestures like running, walking, dancing etc Software- Adobe Maximo
