2D animation with 3D references

 As a solution for my 2d proportions i will be using my 3d characters auto rigs as my 2d references

THE PROCESS - playblast to image sequences

                             software - maya

* need to set the required camera angle. 

* place background and character in different layer.

* set the key frames.

* once you are satisfied with the angle and timing.

* hide the background layer and play the character layer without background

                          Maya Interface Process 

maya open file

render - panel - perspective - shot

show - joint ( off )

timeline - playblast - format ( image )

                                  encoding (JPG)

                                  display size (custom)  [ 1920  1080 ]

                                  browse - new folder - file type ( JPEG )

* the image sequences are saved in the folder with or without the background
