3d integrated with 2d - hybrid animation The modeling is done in 3d software (maya) where rigging and frame work is done as 3d pipeline but,to integrate 2d into 3d.  Each clip is converted in to frames (1 sec = 24 frames) they are hand drawn an 3d rendered frame as shown in the presentation  animators use this kind of style for cartoon look or to produce different look there are many pros and cons for the hybrid animation  3d pros becomes 2d cons,  some of the cons for hybrid animation are timing, framing, proportions, looks, depth

Problems faces when overlapping one another are 1.     Style matching 2.     Registration 3.     Frame rate 4.     Timing 5.     Image sizes

Research

The most confusing question I had in MA ANIMATION is about 702 research. what do we have to research in animation and what is the connection between  701 and 702? After reading VISUALISING RESEARCH  I have learnt what exactly is research. As my research is about HYBRID ANIMATION  I found out that hybrid animation requires two or more modules to integrate with one another, they have different pipelines, different framings, timing, software's, what are the technical difficulties . pros &cons of each pipeline , where pros become cons when they overlap on each other, how to over come these technical difficulties, what are the tools require in the software . All the above  The process to find out answers is research.
